EGTV: Video round-up

Call of Duty 3, Dark Messiah...

Popular World of Warcraft undoubtedly is, but Mythic is determined to prove there's room for more than one fantasy-themed MMO in the market. And if the rush amongst EG-ers this week to view the updated and extended trailer for Warhammer Online is anything to go by, they might be right.

PC RPG fans are also treated to an updated look at the highly anticipated Neverwinter Nights 2 from Obsidian - with a one-and-a-half-minute gameplay snippet from the imminent D&D sequel – plus a fresh glimpse of NCsoft's Guild Wars Nightfall, currently undergoing an intensive period of beta testing.

And not to be outdone, Ubisoft's Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is also shown off this week in a tasty trailer focusing on Skills.

Football fan? (No, supporting Chelsea doesn't count). Either way, Eurogamer TV also exclusively broadcast the brand new teaser for Codemasters' latest instalment of the popular LMA Manager series, with '07's 3D match engine given a run out.

Trigger-happy action fans are also well catered for with two new clips of Activision's delectable next-gen shooter Call of Duty, namely Island and St Malo, marching up to the video front line. Meanwhile, EA presents its vision of the future of warfare, as Battlefield 2142 gets the gameplay-video treatment.

Oh, and it wouldn't be a video round-up without the ubiquitous presence of THQ's Dawn of War: Dark Crusade – so it is with the silvery tears of motherly love that we welcome Grey Knights into the Eurogamer video family.
