New Arena maps for Sin

Emergence update this week.

Ritual's planning to release another patch for Sin Episodes: Emergence this week, adding three brand new Arena mode maps - The Pit, Behind Zee Beaker and Vertigo.

Since it's a bit of a patch, it'll also take care of a number of bugs and tweak a few things so that they work better - for example, there's an added confirmation prompt when deleting Arena mode scores.

Arena mode, added in the last update, is a high-scores single-player game, despite appearances, that involves fending off waves and waves of enemies who become ever more punishing as you continue playing.

For more info on what's included in the patch, including screenshots of the new maps, head over to Ritual's website.

Great to see Ritual proving the doubters wrong about supporting the first episod. Many on here suggested that once one was released that would be it; all bug support / support / added features would be only available in the next episode release.

Sin Episodes is great and Arena Mode is especially fun as it allows all the large guns and explosions without plot getting in the way.

Haha, like Emergence really had any plot!

Don't disagree with you though, the game was fun - I just can't get myself to play the Arena mode, seems a bit pointless (won't be good enough to challenge the high scores!).

    Two words:

    ROCKET
    ARENA

I was pretty good at that. And it was the best fun I've ever had on LAN. I should check if there is a new version for a current gen game...
