Prince of Persia 2 reveals its true colours

He's leaping, he's puzzling - it's what we wanted to see. Download the latest Warrior Within trailer from Eurofiles now.

Someone listens! Having voiced our concerns recently over Ubisoft's rather combat-heavy promotional efforts and the tonal shift in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within evidenced in the E3/Game Stars demo version, today we've gotten our hands on a trailer that goes some way to restoring our faith - and excitement - about this year's follow-up to The Sands of Time.

The new trailer, hosted on Eurofiles here, shows the prince swinging around, operating switches as part of elaborate puzzles, running along walls to avoid enormous spike traps, sailing down banners by digging his sword into them, tiptoeing along narrow beams and leaping to avoid swinging blades, operating switches then running to platforms, climbing ropes, and tackling enormous puzzle rooms indoors and outside.

In short, it's what we wanted to see a Prince of Persia sequel doing, and we have a feeling that it'll get plenty of you in the right mood for Warrior Within, which is due out towards the end of November on PS2, Xbox, Cube and PC. Download it and see what we mean.
