Tekken PSP unveiled
It's out in Japan this summer.
Reports that a Tekken game is in development for the PSP have been confirmed after Famitsu magazine published a whole bunch of screenshots and some new details of the title.
Tekken Dark Resurrection will be based on the arcade version, which is coincidentally titled Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection.
You can expect familiar modes such as Story, Practice and Time Attack, plus a Wi-Fi multiplayer option and a selection of mini-games.
The game will feature more than 35 different fighters, and each will have an all-new introductory movie.
Tekken Dark Resurrection is said to be 60 per cent complete and is due out in Japan this summer - so expect a European release some time in the autumn.

this is what Sony is doing wrong, a good percentage of XB games are online, where as hardly any PSP games are online.
And future games don't appear to be making use of teh function either.

"Then once namco have finished it, they should get started on a PSP version of Soul Calibur"
I dare say that could be incredible if they do it. Soul Calibur: Best 3D fighter ever.
Tekken for PSP is looking very nice from what I've seen.

The key word here is Nintendo. That's simply always the "reason".
