New FF Tactics games

One for PSP, one for 'other'.

Square Enix has confirmed that it's doing a new PSP version of Final Fantasy Tactics, while a second game, reportedly a sequel to the GBA FF Tactics Advance title, is also in development.

The games have been announced in the current issue of Japanese magazine Shonen Jump, although absolute confirmation of some details is still pending.

What we do know is that Final Fantasy Tactics: Shishi Sensou is on its way to PSP, with translations of the article suggesting it adds new jobs and cel-shaded movies to the PlayStation original. Square Enix confirmed "100%" to Eurogamer that this one's on the way for PSP.

The other title, Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Fuuketsu no Guurimore, is reportedly a sequel to the GBA title, but the target platform is unclear. The way translations phrase it has the game coming out on GBA, but obviously also working on the DS.

We'll let you know more when Square Enix can say more, but, hey, that's all good news, right?
