Twilight Princess Cube dated
Out in December Stateside.
With The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess set to launch alongside Nintendo Wii in the US on November 19th and Japan on December 2nd, you might wonder what's happening to the Cube version.
Well, stop doing that, because Nintendo said in a Q&A session after its New York press conference this afternoon that the GameCube version will be released on December 11th in the USA.
There's no word on what that means for us over here, but we'd imagine that'll be cleared up during tomorrow's press event in London. Stay tuned, etc.

Good businessm but not cool for Cube owners who've been waiting forever. Looks like Nintendo aren't so friendly after all.
And $50 for a controller, WTF.

Kudos to Nintendo for not abandoning GameCube owners but really Twilight Princess should have been released months ago on the format when it would have sold more. I'm pretty sure it's been finished a while and has only been held back so it could be a Wii launch game. But then if you have Twilight Princess on the GameCube, you're less likely to what to buy a Wii I suppose...

Yeah but it will never be £32 here will it? You've got to add VAT for a start, that takes it up to $70 at least before you start using the magic conversion numbers they use when translating $ => £.
For those not watching the forums too ... Argos say March :-O

Can somebody explain how November 19 and December 11 are simultaneous?
Is the Wii in fact some form of time machine that will connect Nov 19 and Dec 11? Or did Reggie pull a Kutaragi and blatantly LIE?

"Surely different dates mean that it'll be slightly different? I'd love to see a lil more in the Cube version as a final bow down to the Cube."
AHAHAHAHAHAHA. You think they'll ADD stuff to the version on the inferior format? That's delusional. Especially when it's already been confirmed that the Wii version has extra content. Holding the GC version back is great business sense, it'll encourage people to just pick up a Wii and get Zelda right away rather than waiting and playing it on a console that is practically dead in terms of retail.
