Free Raven Shield expansion News

PC News by Tom Bramwell

14 June, 2005

Ubisoft has released a free seven-mission campaign called Iron Wrath for Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, which is available through 3D Gamers this week for the US and UK versions of the game.

The expansion is free, but you'll have to sign up on this special sign-up site in order to access it, which involves forking over name and address. Once that's done though the 997MB file is all yours.

As well as seven new missions set in terrorist hotspots around Eastern Europe, Iron Wrath also features six new real-world weapons including the MK3 Auto SG Jackhammer shotgun and various other bits of metal that fire other bits of metal excitingly.

Not content with that, there are also three classic Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear and Eagle Watch missions "optimised for today's technology". Or at least for Raven Shield's, which was pretty fancy when it came out back in March 2003.

Yes its a good game. Has some limitations but it is an old game now. Worth a go if you like this type of thing.
