Eidos handling March to Glory News

PSP News by Tom Bramwell

14 May, 2006

Eidos is set to distribute Warner Bros' take on the film of Frank Miller's 300 graphic novel in Europe and North America next year.

Due out on PSP, 300: March to Glory is developed by Collision Studios and sees players take on the role of King Leonidas, who leads 300 Spartans against Xerxes and the Persian army.

Leonidas uses sword, spear and shield and all his mighty men in an combat-based action game allowing players to fight on his own and alongside fellow Spartans. The film, directed by the Dawn of the Dead remake's Zack Snyder, is also due out next year.

Hmm. Hopefully it'll be better than the Dawn of the Dead remake itself. It could have been a great film, instead of a very average one.

A game and film based on 300? Might work, but probably won't do the comic / graphic novel justice. It really is a stunning comic
