Auto Assault 14-day trial
Take it for a test drive.
If you liked the sound of Auto Assault but didn't feel like taking a chance on it when it came out, you might want to check out the offer currently being run by publisher NCsoft - allowing you to try the game out for 14 days with no guarantees.
And, best of all, without having to provide credit card information in the way that a lot of free trials tend to. All you need is an email address, apparently, and once your account is set up you can log in to the game's FTP site and download the client.
If you're not sold on the idea even of that, check out our review of the game for more info.

Its a good idea, and pretty well done, but it just doesnt feel right for some reason. The car handling seems wrong, and the graphics are more than a bit sub-par now, even with the high-res textures.
The intro to the game seems to fall apart, too - apparently totally skipping over stuff like crafting, not to mention it decided to make my X360 pad decide to dance along the desk from some force feedback bug (even though I wasnt using the pad).
Shame, really - seemed like a really nice idea.
Edit: Wooo! First!
(ahem, ill go now...)

I love that it feels post apocalyptic, and not an elf in sight too
I really hope some people like the trial and get into it though!

The crafting is insanely complicated but in a good way..
What other game can you drive around a huge world, find a little town and blow the whole thing up?
