Exp pack for Ghost Recon 2
New maps, missions and modes for Xbox version. Tom Clancy must be knackered.
Ubisoft is set to release a big fat expansion pack for the Xbox version of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2.
It's going under the working title of 'MultiMission' and will include 11 new single-player missions, 16 multiplayer maps and two brand new multiplayer game modes.
And that's not all - the Ghosts get a completely revamped arsenal of weapons, and there will be options to select new skins and lay down multiplayer kit restrictions.
The story is set in Kazakhstan, where the president has been assassinated by a Pakistani warlord who's trying to take over the country. The Ghosts must work together with UN forces to track him down, crush his army and generally and prevent the whole thing going to shit, as they say in films.
All in all it sounds like a lot of time and effort is going into the new expansion pack, which might explain why the PC version of Ghost Recon 2 was axed just the other day.
Ghost Recon 2 MultiMission is slated for a worldwide release this summer - we'll keep you posted.

As for the expansion pack, its a similar idea to the Black Arrow expansion for RB6, so lets hope that it is as good as that was. Play.com have the pack on their list discounted to £14.99 and scheduled for release on 01/09/05, a month after the release (planned) of GR3, so go figure.
