Weekly PAL Releases Roundup

All this week's boxed games.

Good news: I've just asked, and the Internet has agreed to be my Valentine. I'm going to click on her for a bit and then turn the sound down when the neighbours get home. It'll be great. In the morning, there's Bratz Super Babyz to look forward to.

I know, I know - "too much information" (something of a first for this column) - but then as is traditional for the month of February, it's a quiet week to report on. Things are a bit speedier in the land of digital downloads (Audiosurf! Everyday Shooter!), but we don't talk about that here. This is bricks and mortar, "bricks" being the operative.

Oh it's not all that bad. Kristan thought Dark Messiah: Elements on the 360 was good apart from all the horrendous, crippling technical issues; Keza quite liked Battalion Wars 2, and it certainly has an acronym the likes of which we should reward; Rob Fahey got himself in a flap about Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings; and Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles is exactly the sort of game that PSP apologists will cradle and obsess about.

Otherwise it's all a bit cack, obviously, with a few mild curiosities like Penumbra: Black Plague to stare at and then put back and buy FIFA. But don't worry, because next week we've got Patapon, Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3, and, er, FIFA Street 3 to look forward to. I was playing the latter today. There is a Peter Crouch Achievement. COME ON.

Anyway, repeat after me: do not get drunk and phone your ex, do not get drunk and phone your ex, do not get drunk and phone your ex. Go team.
