Silent Hill movie teaser released

Proper spooky and no mistake.

Sony Pictures has released a new teaser trailer for the big screen adaptation of survival horror classic Silent Hill.

You can check it out on the movie's official website, and you might want to leave the lights on.

The Silent Hill movie is directed by Christophe Gans, and the script is by Roger Avary - best known for directing Killing Zoe and co-writing the Pulp Fiction screenplay.

It stars Radha Mitchell, off of Pitch Black, Phone Booth and, er, Neighbours, as Rose, the mother of a weird child who has strange dreams. Deborah Kara Unger and Sean Bean also star.

Silent Hill will hit US cinemas on April 21, but Sony Pictures has yet to lock down a European release date.
