New Test Drive Unlimited trailer

Exclusively on Eurogamer.

Eurogamer has acquired an exclusive new trailer for forthcoming Xbox 360 racer Test Drive Unlimited - and it's now available for download.

We've got some exclusive screenshots, too, featuring some of the shiniest bonnets you ever did see.

As you'll know if you read our recent preview of the game, TDU features more than 100 cars, over 1000 miles of road and more online options than you can shake a gearstick at.

It's set on the Hawaiian island of Oahu (which is where Lost is filmed, fact fans - so look out for crazy old Locke hiding in the bushes at the side of the road. Possibly). There are cars from the likes of Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Jaguar and more, all featuring "unrivalled interior detail" and plenty of options for customisation.

Test Drive Unlimited is due out around May-June time, courtesy of Uncle Atari.

    EXCLUSIVE!

Maybe Lost is really an Xbox 360 ad.
  • Talha #2 6 years ago

Yes, exclusive to EG and about 325 other sites!
  • krudster #3 6 years ago

Well, it's exclusive at the moment, at least!
  • Carlo #4 6 years ago

It's as exclusive to EG as this game will be for the 360.

Krudster - if its the one with the (I think) Aston Martin DB9 racing the yellow (again, I think) Ferrari, and ending with the DB9 vs. a bike of some sort, then I think you better have a word with Gamespot...

cant be that one, it was on the 360official magazine dvd 2 months ago

was a lambo not a ferrari (i think)

Krud - I am sick of this terrible service, I demand that you (or female friends courtesy of Wicked Weasel preferably) come around to my work with a DVD and a plasma and show me this trailer. It's just not good enough - making me download, pish tish.

    :p

Well hopefully is better than it's counterpart Ridge Racer, which normally sucks in the first edition for a new console.
I quite enjoyed Test Drive 5 on the PC, although it was sanctioning you too much when hitting the side of the road. And the AI was merciless, never making mistakes, it was almost impossible to beat.

this trailer has got me interested, but I HATE how in trailers the companies give their games fantastic skidding sound effects etc. which don't resemble the final game in the slightest way.

Bionutz: Ridge Racer sucks in the first edition of a new console? How on earth did you come to that conclusion? How many times have that happened? Once? PS1 version was great when it came out, and if it wasn't it wouldn't count as it's the first game ever in the series. Ridge Racer V was good, but not great. Not as great as Ridge Racer Type 4 at least. Ridge Racer on the DS, well, I heard it's okay, but not as great as Ridge Racer on PSP, which supposedly is the best version yet. Ridge Racer 6 will be out for Xbox 360, and if the PSP version is something to go by, it could be the best one yet.

So, when did Ridge Racer pick up this mysterious "first edition on a new console usually sucks" tradition?

Oooh-er my comp doesnt like these high-detail videos, picture starts going pixelates, sound stutters, this is on winamp, bsplayer, windows media player and media player classic.

Any ideas as to how to resolve this, or at least point me in the right direction?

Spec is 3.0ghz 1gb ram, nvidia 6800GT card if it helps.

Yeah, my laptop struggles to play this vid as well (although sound is fine) but nice download nonetheless

Still not a good looking as PGR3 though ;)
