Micro Machines v4 announced
It's official - and out this summer.
Codemasters has officially announced that a new Micro Machines game is currently in development for PS2, PSP, PC and Nintendo DS.
Micro Machines v4 is being developed by Supersonic Software, who were responsible for various other MM games as well as the Mashed series.
Expect hundreds of unique vehicles, including sports cars, street racers, stock cars 4x4s, beach buggies, lowriders and muscle cars. They all handle and perform differently, and there are loads of weapons and power-ups to collect - including the car-mounted giant hammer.
MM fans will recognise some classic tracks from earlier instalments in the series, such as the breakfast table, kitchen, pool table and bath. There's also a huge bunch of new tracks - you can race across the roofs of houses, zoom through sewers, and cruise round a supermarket and a museum. There's also a farm "with a danger-packed chicken coop." Presumably they've all got bird flu.
Micro Machines v4 is out this summer.

I hope this is more like MM2 than MM3. MM2 has absolutely perfect collision handling, MM3 did not.
It also needs to have a sponge that you use to cross a sink!

I opted for Magicland Dizzy...although I think I may have it confused with 'Prince of the Yolk Folk'. Interesting stuff huh?

"MM fans will recognise some classic tracks from earlier instalments in the series"
read between the lines and that says to me that their designers can't be bothered to do their job and come up with an entire bunch of new tracks!! They also can't be bothered to come up with new game ideas.............recent releases and announcements include,
Op Flashpoint
TOCA Race Driver AGAIN
LMA Manager AGAIN
Sensible Soccer
Did anyone notice Colin McRae Rally 4 tracks were just Colin 3 tracks reversed?!?!?!
Despite all that, I'd like to see MM released but it'd have to be budget or Xbox Live Arcade title...............not churn out the same old game and expect the public to pay full price for it!!!!!
