RoboBlitz launches on Steam News

PC News by Tom Bramwell

8 November, 2006

RoboBlitz, soon to be released on Xbox Live Arcade, has been released for the PC through Valve's Steam system.

Priced at US$ 14.95, the Unreal Engine 3-based, physics-driven action game in which a young robot called Blitz has to solve puzzles and "do some violence" across 19 levels, on the way to activating a Space Cannon to sort out some "maladjusted space pirates".

But don't take their word for it - if you've got Steam, you can actually download a trial version and see whether you like the cut of its robotic jib.

it looks very interesting indeed, although it seems the price will be steep for the 360, at least 1100

It's ok, but looks nothing like I'd hoped for a UE3 game. Shows versatility I guess. (whats with the max res being 960 x 600 or something silly like that?)

The game was ok, nothing really special.

It's like the spiritual successor to N64 Rocket: Robot on Wheels
