Marc Ecko's getting delayed
Until Feb 2006.
Atari has decided to slip Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure to February 2006 in order to set it apart from the Christmas stampede, the publisher said this week.
"The release date has changed globally because we feel strongly that the beginning of 2006 offers a much better launch window for this innovative fresh franchise than the crowded Christmas period," Atari said in a statement.
Ecko's game - something he's reportedly poured over seven years of his life into - aims to combine several distinct genres into one using a graffiti-driven framework. There'll be stealth, street-fighting, and of course graffiti-tagging. The game's currently in development at The Collective.

Yeah that the real reason, oh yes, they didn't see the Christmas stampede coming and it took them by surprise.
