DOOM raises more hell.

Activision could be publishing an expansion pack of DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil on Xbox later this year, according to IGN.

Originally released as a PC add-on barely months ago, the Nerve Software-developed pack boasts a number of single-player levels, new weapons, more varied environments, some different monsters and… well, we officially thought it was a good thing, so just be excited, dammit.

Activision is currently keeping tight-lipped on this (and hadn't responded to us at the time of publication), but it's likely to start parading official details at next week's QuakeCon event in Texas.

I Bought the expansion for the PC and i did the first level and then just never bothered going any further.

Ditto but with Doom 3 on Xbox...have no intention of playing it any further.

I played Doom 1 and 2 more than Doom 3 on the disk.

The PC expansion pack was surprisingly good despite it's shortness, thanks to the additon of the double-barrelled shotgun and the ability to slow down time by sucking up souls into the artifact you use. Doom 3 on the Xbox was an excellent conversion so it makes sense to port the expansion pack to the Xbox as well. Should be good.

How appropriate that a game called DOOM is being released on the XfuckingBox, because that is exactly what that piece of shit was before it was even released... DOOMED!

Those cocks at Micro$oft should have known better than to step into Sony's yard, which they claimed by eating the mangled corpse of the has-been Nintendo! The Xbox was shit, the Xbox360 will be ever more so shit, and the PS3 will piss all over it's rotting corpse.

is Paul_Stephen_Patters new or somthing?. ive seen 3 posts by this guy in the last day and they were ALL anti microsoft/xbox - pro sony/ps2..

If you prefer your ps2 then that is fine, but dont go rambling on about it all the fecking time.. infact, i think you might* like the xbox if you give it a go. sounds like ud fit right in with all the 12yr old american tards on halo2
