Ghost Recon Warfighter dated

There's a new trailer, too.

Ubisoft has announced the release dates for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter - and there's now a new trailer for the game on Eurogamer TV too.

Titled All Along the Watchtower, the trailer features a new version of Dylan/Hendrix classic performed by all manner of modern day rock types. The vocals are by Everlast, Billy Gould of Faith No More is on bass and Raymond Herrera (Fear Factory, Killing Zone) is on the drums. Guitar noises are provided by Kamana/Killing Zone's Russell Ali and Doug Carrion (Kottonmouth Kings, Dag Nasty). What no Bedingfield?

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is out on Xbox 360 and plain old Xbox come March 9th. The PC and PS2 versions will follow on March 30th.

The trailer on the forum is simply stunning (better than this one to be honest due to the res - what is it with companies providing 10mb trailers??).

Excellent choice of tunes for the trailer, nothing beats Jimi, even if it was a remixed version of it. I'm definately looking forward to this one. But I'm the same as some of you, empty wallets don't put games in my 360 =(

March seems to be the new 360 launch date as far as titles go. I always said I would hang on for the first price cut, but I'm not sure if thats going to happen.

Looks like I am just going to have to stop pumping air down to the kids I have working in my salt mine. I'm sure they will get by until I manage to scrape together enough funds to turn the generator back on.

get in......i am not going to buy any games "new" at release this year except for this. it was down on my pre-order list when i ordered the x360 so i was sad when it was put back. The Live! part of this game is going to rock.

    @LeDilettante

"I wonder if that's not been purposedly engineered to coincide with hardware resupplies"

That doesn't seem an unreasonble thing to expect. If I were a publisher I would prefer to delay a release slightly if it meant there would actually be a decent installed base to sell to. Marketing is expensive stuff, you don't want to do it more than once if you can help it.

I still think a lot of people will struggle to find a 360 to go with their copy of GR:AW come March 9th.

Fack me March is an expensive month for a 360 owner, soooo many class looking titles for me to buy,I really need a better job :(
  • bunglebonce #12 6 years ago

Does anyone think the PC version will retain the 360 version's graphical fidelity (not including the option of AA, which is a plus point for me), or am I being a bit optimistic?

Wow that trailer looks rather nice indeed.

Is it my imagination or have they done something with the HUD to make is a little less intrusive.

    Excellent. /gets wallet ready.

This 360 business is becoming rather expensive.

Payday for me between now and then thank god - this is one of the games I got my X360 for. I'm supposed to be saving, but I'm gonna treat myself for giving up smoking.

    XBox 360 Prediction:-
IGN, Gamespot, and all other major sites; 9 to 10
    Eurogamer; 6 to 7

Apparently I'm the only one here who thinks the Ghost Recon games are exceptionally average.

This is not the sort of game which will make me shell out over £200 on a 360, fancy-looking trailer or not
