Extra map for Saints Row News

Xbox 360 News by Tom Bramwell

7 November, 2006

THQ and Saints Row developer Volition have released a downloadable multiplayer map for the latter's Xbox 360 exclusive gangster-'em-up.

And before you go into auto-rant mode, as befits a lot of recent premium content releases, this one - the "Industrial Map Pack" - seems to come in at a reasonable price point of 80 points.

According to those involved, it takes place in an abandoned factory and is available for "Gangster Brawl and Big Ass Chains", which I stick in quotes partly because I've not played Saints Row a huge amount and partly because I haven't got time to wash my hands! [Snob - Ed]

Can you be less coy and just translate what 80 points means in actual money?

Freebies are nice, but I guess 70p isn't bad for a new map.

I don't mind paying for good extra content. 80 points is a nice price to pay.
I paid 150 for the Viva Pinata theme cos I NEEDED a Horstachio that much.

Not tried the multiplayer yet, so whether it's value I can't say.

It's a very good game, I have to say. Ignore the usual jitteriness and little issues, and it's a really good game. And nothing says fun like stealing ho's.

After a slow start, I've been playing this game more and more, so much so that it has sat in my 360 for the last month.

Top game, top fun and some solid humour in there to boot.

GTA Clone, but a very, very good one IMHO.

Who's being coy ? It's a primary school level calculation !

For the UK 1 MSP = .0085p so .0085 X 80 = 68p

Or if you're really that crap at maths just bookmark http://www.mspconverter.com

You shouldn't need to bring a calculator when you read an EG article. If you can do 0.0085 X 80 in your head, then more power to ya.

The fact people can't work it out for themselves doesn't mean any site that posts the MSP value and not the GBP value is being coy...

The pricing system is 100% transparent and easy to work out with the above formula and a calculator. If you want to make it even easier just knock off the zeroes and multiply the two figures.

85 X 80 = 6800, knock off the zeroes and you've worked it out :þ

Lesson ends.

*edit* knocked too many zeros off ! Use the website converter ;)
