My only concern is how you can capture the amazingly fast pace of table tennis on a console. How one earth is it going to control like? Have you ever seen these world class Chinese and Swedish players trade shots? It's unreal!

Erm. I have a feeling that a point is being missed. This ISN'T being done by a studio which was behind GTA.

Rockstar has MANY studios, which tend to do ports of GTA to earn their stripes, and then might get to do something else. Not sure about San Diego's path specifically. Take Two had the great idea of naming ALL of their studios "Rockstar: Location" to bleed the perception of success created by GTA into other games. And this is where it backfires - when one of the studio goes "off message".

Not that I particularly mind. I like pingpong!

Bah. It's a Rockstar thread. Why do I even think I can take on the noise to signal ratio?

So they saw the Fight Night 3 demo, thought they should make a tech demo in the same way, try and test graphical techniques on the 360, etc. But it's Rockstar. Therefore it is now a game and has a release date. For the moneys.

Well, actually, it doesn't sound so bad. If Rockstar can make table tennis games popular, then all power to them.

The world needs table tennis.
