I'm not surprised, I played it the other day and it was quite easily one of the worst games I've ever played on. To actually make people pay to keep playing it would be verging on criminal.

Still not worth the shit on my shoe though.

now this is interesting, what is the purpose of euromager is it simply to reiterate news shouldest it be pointing out the obvious that its a sub sub standard game which has been paned and no one it much inclined to pay a subscription for this and its a fairly desperate attempt to pay for itself with micro payments or whatever

its heading the way of the dodo if they don't drastically improve it pronto, good riddance

Archlord is the sort of game that makes even Powergamers think about having a social life. The last I heard you couldn't attain the Archlord rank because it's not set up. Is this still true?

All these dire MMOs: do they really all come from Korea or is that a baseless stereotype? If it's true, what is it about Korea that makes people want to play these games? I fell asleep several times during my free Eve trial period, and I thought WoW seemed boring, but from what I read of these, the patience of a saint and the carpal tunnel of Samson seem prerequisites

I've seen on the Archlord forums over the Xmas period that a lot of people, across the world, seem to have acquired the game thanks to no subs. I thought the forum would be as dead as Auto Assault but it's very busy.

Just goes to show that no subs model can have a big effect on sales.
