Dark Messiah special edition

Extra bits for fans.

Those of you looking forward to Dark Messiah of Might & Magic might be interested to learn that there's a special collector's edition due out at the same time as the normal, the-game-is-good-enough-for-me version, in October.

Available seductively and exclusively through GAME, the special box throws in a bonus CD that hosts a new multiplayer skin and four exclusive single-player weapons, along with a 'making of' documentary that talks to Arkane and Kuju along with publisher Ubisoft. You also get a soundtrack CD, a grained paper map of the multiplayer world, and a demo of Heroes of Might & Magic V.

Dark Messiah, which is also set to be released through Valve's Steam system for those of you with an aversion to the outside world, is an action game despite the name, and we have written about it twice and liked it on both occasions. There's also a demo out, which is the thrust of that second linked piece, and you very much ought to give that a go if you haven't already.
