John Woo's 2007.

Midway has decided to keep John Woo's Stranglehold in development for a bit longer, with the release date now set to be sometime in Q1 2007.

The delay comes on the back of a very positive reception at this year's E3, where the game was billed as one of the next generation's most interesting prospects.

It's currently in development at Midway's Chicago studio, and due out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Reason for delay : hard/not enough time to port the game to the PS3, Im guessing

What are you lot complaining about?The PS3 is going to have Motorstorm and a Formula one game on launch,ohhh yeah!.......That'll probably be it mind.

At least we can be 100% positive the game will be better than the film. It's been years since John Woo made a movie worth watching (the last one being Face//Off).

Well stranglehold did look like i pritty decent launch title.Bit im not dissapointed at all.Look at all the other great launch titles.I havnt been this exited about soo many games at once.The ones too look out for are Call of duty 3,Resistance:all of man,the darkness and prey!!
