Beta should kick off next month.

TrackMania developer Nadeo has told Eurogamer that the new TM compilation will be in the shops by the end of the year. Nadeo also revealed that a beta is scheduled to start some time around the end of August / start of September so they can try out all the new network features.

For those who missed yesterday's announcement, TrackMania United will feature all the previously released games and add-ons in the series. Lots of rather exciting new features are promised - you can read all about them on the official website.

Sunrise pretty much died online when Nations was released for free, Nadeo shot themselves in the foot with their generousity. I see this as a move to recapture a paying audience.

Trackmania tracks that are actual tracks and not just some weird thing where everyone just tries to perfect one badly made jump for the best time for 30 minutes i hope this one doesn't have a f2p version because if it does people will only make maps for whatever the free version gets which is lame and why i never bought trackmania i also really like run on sentences. -Instant Tax Solutions
