Xbox 360 in Hitman's sights

Let 'em have it.

Hitman: Blood Money will be released on Xbox 360 this spring alongside the previously announced PC, PS2 and Xbox versions.

"The development team at IO have engineered and developed the game to harness and exploit the latest in graphics and game technology so Xbox 360 is the ideal platform to demonstrate this work in HD," says executive producer Neil Donnell.

Blood Money, the fourth game in IO Interactive's stealth action series, sees players trying to execute the perfect assassination to earn the most money from each mission, as Agent 47's agency the ICA is systematically wiped out and he legs it to the US to go freelance.

It's not the first Eidos multiformat game to extend its reach to Xbox 360, of course - Tomb Raider: Legend, due out this Friday, is also headlining on Microsoft's next-gen format.
