Well, play them at Halo 2.

Hollyoaks. Love it or hate it, you can't deny that it's on every single bloody Sunday for what feels like seventeen hours and never did anybody's hangover any good at all.

But anyway, it turns out that Chester residents Max Cunningham (real name Matt Littler), Olivia Johnson (Rochelle Gadd) and Sarah Barnes (Loui Batley) are big fans of Halo 2, and will be battling it out on Xbox Live tomorrow.

If you want to take them on, you'll need to add their gamertags - which are the same as their character names - to your friends list. Then hop online between 4pm - 6pm this Saturday 4th March to see if you've been selected to take part.

The Hollyoaks omnibus is broadcast each Sunday on Channel 4 from 9.50am - all bloody day.

The guy who plays Max was stood behind me in the queue at Tesco's on Mather Avenue in Liverpool a couple of months ago. He looked quite hungover and then quite unimpressed when I said to my girlfriend "Is that the guy who plays O.B.?"

Is Halo the only decent shooter? Are celebrity endorsements, buzz around a movie adaptation, talk of a sequel in the face of PS3, discussing its attributes as though no shooter existed before it or since - is all that an attempt to make MS's posterboy something larger and deeper than it actually is?

One would think so. I am a fan of Halo as well (both 1 and 2), but by golly, someone needs a reality check.

Wow this makes me want to avoid playing halo 2 online like the plague,its good to know that as the game market continues to mature that so many still feel its just kids and bloody teenagers who are interested in it.

Not ironic as it is obvious. This is "obviously" aimed at hollyoaks fans, thierfore "obviously" fans will know the names and want to play with them.

I'm not ashamed to state that I watch hollyoaks (I know many here do too, just to chicken to say.

I have no reason to on live to play them though.
