Hope they've taken the gameplay a little more into the modern times. If the keep it like the original people won't get with it IMO.

Yes! Ghouls and Ghoblins was completely ace in it´s day! Glad to see it get the Sonic Rush/New Super Mario Bros treatment.

Well I hope its decent but somehow i have my doubts. So many times we get served re-hashed 2D games in 3D and it usually doesnt work too well but i guess it is Capcom so there is hope i spose.

I liked Ghosts and Goblins and loved Ghouls and Ghosts so I have high hopes for this title. One thing though...shouldn't this one be called Zombies and Ghouls or something only then you get

Zombies and Ghouls -----> Ghouls and Ghosts -----> Ghosts and Goblins

or removing duplicates

Zombies and Ghouls and Ghosts and Goblins

:) oh my!

er maybe I should mention it's 1.41 am and I'm nackered

But is it actually a new game? Sounds suspiciously like yet another Super Ghouls 'n' Ghosts-style update/remake jobbie. Anyway, I stopped hungering for new G'n'G action when the Maximo games came out (as in I enjoyed them, rather than they made me so physically sick that I never wanted to see a man in his pants fighting zombies ever again).

As for New Super Mario Bros, I played it briefly at one of those Nintendo roadshow things the other week and I have to say it didn't feel like Mario at all - it felt (and looked) like some dodgy Atari ST game. I'm hoping I just played a particularly shit bit.
