SEGA and Sports Interactive have released a patch for the PC, Mac and Intel Mac versions of Football Manager 2007.
SI says that the patch deals with a bunch of issues that were brought to its attention by the game's loyal fanbase, "the majority of which only affect a small amount of users". (They mean the bugs, obviously - we're all deeply affected by the fanbase.)
"The patch is saved game compatible," the teams note, "but for the full effects, a new game should be started."

FM 2007 should never have been launched as it clearly wasn't ready - they do this every single year! Despite being buggy as hell FM 2007 doesn't even load for me any more as it keeps asking me to insert the CD-ROM!
I'm never buying another one of their games again. They don't work! Fucking rubbish. |

Steve: it's a rule for me now I never buy a FM game until the first patch is released (or 2nd patch if the 1st patch is released the same day as the game)
Great games, but its a far too complex game for the coders to get it all right first time, and i'd rathar let other players be the paying beta testers :) |
