New Dawn of War expansion News
PC News by Tom Bramwell
Relic's announced a few details of a new expansion for Games Workshop-licensed RTS Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, following on from last year's Winter Assault pack.
The new pack has yet to be named but will introduce new single-player and multiplayer content and, most notably, two new playable races. One of those will be the Tau - and if you're more of a gamer than a tabletop fanatic, you can see what they're about on Games Workshop's website.
The introduction of the Tau and their unnamed pals will bring the total number of playable races in Dawn of War to seven.
Said Ron Moravek, general manager of Relic: "With this latest expansion, we've taken feedback from the players to create a powerful, action-orientated single- and multiplayer experience that is enriched by the quality and depth of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Dawn of War will be forever reforged for the Greater Good!"
It'll be out in the autumn, too.
