New TF2 character vid at GC
But who is it about? Find out!
Do you remember the Heavy Weapons Guy video that Valve did to promote Team Fortress 2? Of course you do, because it was ace. Well, they're doing another one.
The new one will focus on the Soldier, another of TF2's classes, and will be released during the Games Convention later this week, appearing on Steam around the same time.
As you know, because you read the first impressions thing I spent ages on, there are nine classes, and the Soldier is a powerful attacking class who gives rocket-jumping Quake fans a way into Valve's team-based multiplayer FPS.
And even if you're not interested in playing the game (sulk), you'll probably get a kick out of the video, because the last one was funny and they've had enough time to think up some new jokes for this one. Check out the Heavy Weapons Guy video on Eurogamer TV for a reminder of what's in store.
Team Fortress 2 is due out as part of Valve's Orange Box package - along with Portal and Half-Life 2: Episode Two - on 12th October for PC and hopefully at the same time for PS3 and 360.

alot of people on the EG comments only seem to post to slag things off, troll or rubbish them, and the incessant negativism really grates sometimes.
