New Rocket Knight dated for US

Coming to Steam, consoles next month.

Konami has announced that the long-awaited console revamp of 16-bit platformer-cum-shoot-'em-up Rocket Knight Adventures will be hitting download services in the US next month.

A post on the Rocket Knight Adventures official Facebook fan page reveals the game will arrive on Xbox Live and Steam on 12th May, followed by a PSN release on 18th May.

Specific prices and European dates have yet to be revealed.

    Still not sure on this one. I saw the new trailer and it does look better than the first footage but it's still lost the character of the original with it's new polygon look. Konami did the same thing with awful remake of the wonderful Turtles In Time.

    Konami I would say look to the upcoming Toki on how to do these remakes, beautifully redrawn but true to the original artwork. When is that damn game out anyway??

    I will get the trial first then make a decision. If it is a decent price and plays alright I will buy it. Loved the originals.

    Rocket Knight Adventures was one of my absolute favourite games of the 16-bit era, so this is an instant buy. Here's hoping it doesn't suck dog cocks.
