It better feature the prince of persia. I'm fed up to the back teeth with franchise games suddenly removing the franchise character from the main role in order to "do something new".

It's like they forgot why the franchise became a franchise in the first place.

er you do remember the fighting in assasins creed right? It was abysmal and degenerated into a one hit kill counter move after the second mission. Loved the graphics though and yep they would suit persia perfectly.

Yeah it was never the fighting that made POP great. Although the stealth kills in the 3rd one weren't bad.

Sands of Time is still the best one though.

Good news, The Sands of Time was one of the most beautiful games on PS2. Here's hoping they don't fuck it up.

Here's a fun fact involving MC Hammer: remember Disney's "Aladdin"? The animators of that film studied MC Hammer's videos to learn how to properly animate Aladdin's pants.
