Now you can just add water. Plus: outfits!

A new batch of downloadable content with a Pirates of the Caribbean theme is coming to LittleBigPlanet.

As reported by the PlayStation blog, the level kit features six levels and new gameplay element - water. You can also add water to levels you create. Plus there are new objects to play with like a water switch, bubble machine and scuba gear.

Then there's the new costume kit. This lets you dress Sackboy up as Jack Sparrow, Barbarossa, Elizabeth Swann, Davy Jones, Will Turner and Tia Dalma.

Both the level kit and the costume kit will be released on 22nd December, priced at Ł4.79 / €5.99 each.

Cheap as chips too! Now if only the cossies would be cheaper, i mean why pay Ł5 for a t-shirt when you can get an entire level pack for the same price. I'll definately be buying this, can't wait!

If you bought *all* the premium DLC released for LittleBigPlanet then I reckon you'll have spent in excess of Ł80 at least judging by the sheer amount of stuff released for it. Seems ridiculous for one game really. Still, it's nice to see that the developers are still supporting it for those that still play it but I only ever downloaded the freebies.

I've never bothered with any of the ŁŁŁ costumes, but I grabbed the MGS level pack and I'll grab this one.
User levels are super and all that, but I'd rather pay a fiver every now and then to get some grade A dev levels instead of sifting through countless tepid user levels to find one that's actually really good.

More dev level packs dammit! I really enjoyed LBP, but haven't gone back to it for aeons, this is going to get me playing again!

Its amazing how media molecule are keep working on LBP its like world of warcraft but you don't have to pay LBP 10 quid a month and it sounds to me like water is a big update it sounds like the type of improvement you would find in a squel cant spell that, follow up game lol. big respect to media molecule
