New PAL Releases Roundup up to 1st Feb

Not much to get excited about.

If you're planning to go outside tomorrow in search of new videogame fun, then you're braver than us. Then again, the alleyway that leads to your front door probably doesn't have an overflowing drainpipe hanging over it which unavoidably drenches everyone who enters or exits the building. Unless you know the cheat codes for the back door, and obviously I'm not sharing.

Anyway, the point was there wouldn't be much point, because this week's release schedule is as wet as the postman, the builders downstairs and Dan who puts the screenshots up put together - and that's some pretty horrible imagery right there. If you can get past it, you can pick between the likes of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom and Lineage II - The Kamael. Or maybe you fancy a bit of NFL Tour to go with that Superbowl you're not going to stay up to watch. You could add all the scores together and still struggle to get above average.

There really isn't much else to say. You'd be much better off spending a few quid on the 800 Microsoft Points required to pick up Rez HD, or else saving up for next Friday when The Club and Devil May Cry 4 are the headliners. Look out for reviews of both of them in the coming days.

This week:

  • Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom (Xbox 360)
  • Lineage II - The Kamael (PC)
  • NFL Tour (Xbox 360)
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (DS)
  • The Sims 2: Castaway Stories (PC)
