New Oasis album for Guitar Hero
Out next year, track pack next month.
Not to be outdone the promise of Nirvana DLC for Rock Band, Activision has announced some Oasis DLC for Guitar Hero World Tour.
The entirety of Oasis' new "Dig Out Your Soul" album will be made available as a premium download on PS3 and Xbox 360 next year, although pricing is unavailable.
In the meantime, three of the album's songs - "The Shock of the Lightning", "Bag it Up" and "Waiting for the Rapture" - will be released as a track pack on 6th November.
When the album comes out, the rest of the songs will be available as singles, and hopefully some sort of maker-upper pack for people who bought this year's lot.
Fans of Oasis can already look forward to playing with "Some Might Say", which is included on the Guitar Hero World Tour soundtrack.
However, Rock Band is arguably the best destination for long-time fans, as it ships with "Rock 'n' Roll Star" in Europe and offers crowd-pleaders "Don't Look Back in Anger", "Live Forever" and "Wonderwall" as DLC.
It's almost as if you should buy both games. Hrm. Look out for our Guitar Hero World Tour review next week ahead of an as-yet unconfirmed November release.

Rock band does not get "one of the most iconic albums ever released". It doesnt even get an album. It gets some songs from it. Therefore far from the complete work.

You could get Expert on all of the Oasis songs with your feet..
Basically, they're really simple to play, it's called "Guitar Hero" for a reason, put on some good guitar riffing songs!

and so by your logic must love Alanis Morisette and Celine Dion.
