    The screens make it look like it's a glorified editor and maybe it really is - but when they showed it at E3 I was thoroughly impressed. I'm really interested in how this will turn out.

    there aren't enough kart racer style games on consoles these days, so keeping an eye on this (along with the sega all-stars racing thing)

    I'm interested in the creation content, but I wasn't impressed by how LBP plays and am worried this'll turn out the same. Anyone who's tried the beta got any feedback about the controls and general gameplay?

    Controls seem..off. Feels like you are bouncing around too much, or not enough grip or something. can't explain it.

    Where as Mario kart feels right, this doesn't, and it doesn't feel like an arcade racer either.

    But being able to knock up your own track in literally 5 minutes and have it look professional is pretty amazing.

    Couple guys have said that the handling is a little floaty and when the car jumps it tends to bounce a little too much on landing but remember that this is still beta and there's plenty of time to tune the handling engine and get it feeling right.

    I did QA for a racing title this year and the vehicle handling and track surface physics were still being tinkered with right up to a few weeks before submissions, I'm pretty confident that everything will feel right by the time the game is released.
