New Marvel: Ultimate Alliance coming
Later this year, but no word on platforms.
Activision has confirmed that a sequel to action RPG Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is on the way.
Apparently it'll be out later this year, but the publisher has yet to confirm an official title or state what platforms the game is in development for.
The original Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was released back in November 2006 on PC, all the PlayStation platforms, both Xboxes, Wii and even GBA.
Kristan quite liked the game, describing it as "essential for comic book obsessives and great fun for everyone else". Read his review for the full 7/10.

The villians & extra heroes DLC was in my opinion a real rip off as it should have just been included in the original version.

I know that internet opinion is usually nonsense, but I have used both sites and they have been perfect the 8 or 9 times that I have used them.

I'm not sure how any of this is going to work in a sequel considering the majority of the big Marvel heroes, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, are now liscenced to Sega. They can't possible do a new Ultimate Alliance without those guys.

Marvel has a load more heroes. Strangely enough, in Marvel: UA, I thought that Hulk, Doom, Iron Man and Thor were actually rubbish. Reed Richards, Captain America, Wolverine and Nick Fury are awesome.

I agree X-Men legends 1 & 2 and both the Baldurs Gate games on XBox + PS2 were awesome as was Marvel Ultimate Alliance; the best one.
