New Kojima Productions game teased News

Kojima Productions' latest project could be announced within the next week or so, judging by mysterious emails sent to US journalists and what's reportedly a double-page teaser from the latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu.
According to IGN/1UP, emails arrived yesterday with the subject line "T -3 days" and a link to http://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/next/, which currently 404s.
Then a poster on NeoGAF introduced a double-page advert bearing the same URL and the legend "2009. 5. 18" overlaid on a picture of a grassy wasteland under storm clouds. Apparently the tease appears in the latest Famitsu.
Kojima Productions king Hideo Kojima has previously said that we would see an "official game announcement" at E3, which runs from 2nd to 4th June.

Well, if it's the one that's being made to cater for Western audiences:
It'll be a massively sandbox game containing guns, cars, bewbs and swearing. Full of minigames and virtual pets. Virtual pets that have guns and cars. Set to an Emo / Rap soundtrack. Balance board can be used. It's USP will be a feature where you have to read a paragraph of text. If you have correct diction and can get through the paragraph without swearing, playing stupid music, or sounding like a whiny little 10 year old, you get into the "good" multiplayer. If you can't get through the paragraph you get dropped into a lobby full of whiny little 10 year olds playing shitty music down the headset and swearing about "hoes". It's like a LIVE! Cleanup Area. |

From the double page spread to me it instantly looks like a field with a cloud of smoke from an exlposion? Almost as though theres a war going on. Maybe kojimas attempt at a FPS/Operation Flashpoint/War genre?
Will hopefully find out on the 18th? Certainly interested though, huge fan of hideos titles. The obvious being MGS, I don't think it will be MGS related. Fingers crossed it isnt in a way and this is the start of a whole new franchise. |

Don't care about MGS after the travesty of the last game. It better be another ZOE because second runner was fantastic.

Stare at it longer and the clouds blow away to reveal a million fanboys with their fingers crossed hoping for MGS4 on 360, saying how the grass is green "like the Xbox360's power button!" |

I would be sooo happy if they announced a Policenauts remake. ZOE 3 would do fine though.

I remember something in the news some time ago about Kojima being intrigued about first-person shooters. Could this be one?
Whether it is on one console or multiplatform, it would be interesting to see what new thing could Kojima bring if this were indeed an FPS.
