New Forza Motorsport 3 DLC launches

Get a bunch of new cars for free.

Microsoft has released a new batch of DLC for Forza Motorsport 3 - and it's free to download.

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe Car Pack gives you the Rhys Millen Racing Red Bull Hyundai Genesis Coupe, the HKS Genesis Coupe and the special edition Forza 3 Genesis Coupe.

Plus as of 8th December you'll be able to download the Hot Holidays Car Pack. It will feature ten hot super cars coming in 2010 such as the Ferrari 458 Italia. The pack will cost 400 Microsoft Points (£3.40 / €4.80), but you'll be able to download the 2010 Audi S4 for free as a taster.

Forza Motorsport 3 scored a big fat 9 on Eurogamer last month - read our review for the full lowdown.

That Rhys Millen Racing Hyundai Coupe is a beast of a car! It broke the world record for 2WD cars on the Pike's Peak Hillclimb event, been doing quite well in Formula Drift events as well.

stuff should be on the disk imo. but at least it just cars for now, i hated getting circuits as dlc because theyre pretty much useless unless everyone has them. but a valid complaint (for me): i took part in a c class-550 tournament on forza 2 and qualified easily. i also won the first race but i was hammered in the 2nd race by the renault 5 turbo, a dlc car. all cars that progressed in that tourney where the same, and dlc to boot, so i was annoyed by the fact i had to pay to have a chance of winning.

10 cars for £3.40 is reasonable i'd say. Even better there's free stuff :D

    Yay.

    Top stuff.

Now where's the classic mini and the XR3i?

34p per car is a good deal and the free ones are obviously better still. Not exactly sure I need them right now though as the game has 400 cars and I don't think I've even driven a tenth of them! Still you can't grumble at freebies.

@Rich72 - What do you mean you can't play it? It only runs on the Xbox 360 you know...? ;)

I've had the game freeze on me when I was near the end of a long race which forced me to turn off my 360 in disgust and I haven't touched the game since. I do plan on going back to it over the coming weeks though so I hope it behaves!

Are your problems, Rich72, related to the game crashing or is it that you cannot load the game at all? If it's the latter then I'd say you have a problem with the game disc (assuming other games work fine).

Note - available for Gold members only :(

Haven't bothered renewing since August, I used my previous subscription so little it seemed silly to re-sub. Oh well.
