New EA studio making a "ground-breaker"
Sims Studio talent drafted in.
From EA's Redwood Shores Sims Studio will emerge a new development team in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The publisher said this new team will begin work on a "groundbreaking" project that has yet to be announced.
EA hasn't elaborated on how many Sims Studio employees will be making the move, and said "critical leadership" positions were still to be filled.
The publisher's existing Salt Lake City presence - responsible for Tiger Woods PC, NERF and Littlest Pet Shop DS blockbusters - will move downtown into a bigger office.
Sims Studio was one of the offices hit hard when EA announced 1500 job cuts across the company.
