New Conflict: DO demo available for PC News

News by Ellie Gibson

28 January, 2008

A new PC demo for forthcoming shooter Conflict: Denied Ops has popped up on Eidos's website.

The demo weighs in at around 950MB and allows you to try out both single-player and co-op modes.

Conflict: Denied Ops sees you taking charge of a two-man squad tasked with killing foreigners throughout South America, Africa and Siberia. There are all sorts of futuristic weapons to play with, and something called 'Puncture Tech' promises fully destructible environments.

The game is out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this spring. Look out for a full preview shortly.

So, is it any good? (at work here)

I quite liked the Desert Storm games' tactical-lite approach (very SAS) and the notion of co-op sounds fun.... but the last 2 Conflict games were, I believe, utter gash.
