New 50 Cent game gets release date News

THQ has told Eurogamer that the new 50 Cent game will be released in February.

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand sees the titular rap star and his chums from "G-Unit" gadding about with big old guns. Footage shown so far suggest you'll be taking down men in turbans while exporing sandy environments full of Arabic architecture, but that doesn't mean it's set in the middle East obviously. There's an online co-op mode and 18 exclusive new 50 Cent tracks,

According to THQ, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on 20th February. You can catch up with trailers, previews and the like via the gamepage.

Online co-op? surprised they implemented it, don't usually for games like this.

Good feature to have, need it in more games.

I quite enjoyed Army of Two. Not got round to finishing it yet though so it's not hooked me as much as it could have, but still... descent enough effort.

What they should do is release it but instead of having a game inside the box just fill it with anthrax and the world would be a better place.

I've kept seeing references to this game over the past year, but somehow my brain refuses to believe it could be real, hoping it might not.

I really cannot wait for this game, it's been in the books for so long, I can finally make 50 Cent Bleed all over the sand!
