NCsoft MMOs now available via Steam News

PC News by Ellie Gibson

23 April, 2009

NCsoft's biggest and bestest MMO games are now available to buy via digital download service Steam.

They include Lineage, on offer for just GBP 3.49, and the new City of Heroes Architect Edition (GBP 9.99), which lets you create your own story arcs and missions. A full list is available over in the Steam Store.

Once you've bought an NCsoft game via Steam, you can sign in from any PC to play. New MMO Aion, which is out this autumn, will also be released through the platform, and special promotions on other NCsoft products are promised to appear regularly.

I wonder if I can put my NCsoft key in... I'd love to get away from that terrible, terrible website they use...

I could go for some Guild Wars right now. Nice that it's easily available for everyone without even leaving the house now, and with the extra Steam stuff that's handy. Though I suppose I could run it from Steam anyway.

Still a bit pricey though, cheaper using the link in this very article.

I couldn't find CoH last night. Is it on there now?

EDIT: Looks like they've added it now :)

I've always wanted to try it ever since I was in the beta, so I hope it's as good as I remember.

i dip in and out all the time Eraysor. There never seems to be alot of people on the Euro servers these days though. I always end up leaving each time because of lack of players. Its a fun and different game mind.. and refershing in a world full of fantasy MMOs. Im actually looking forward to the soon-to-be-released Champions Online for the very same reason :)

I saw no package deal for Guild Wars (original plus additions). I can see one in stores here and for cheaper than buying all the packs on Steam.

@ Spekingur

It's there (kinda), Guild Wars Trilogy- http://store.steampowered.com/app/29620/

Missing the last expansion, but that is max level content only anyway.

Tempted by City of Heroes. I was in on the beta, actually played it as the clock struck 12 on New Years back then. SAD lol
But Champions Online is out soon. Is there any point?
