Napoleon: TW confirms campaign MP

Conquer the world with a friend.

SEGA and Creative Assembly have announced full campaign co-op integration for Napoleon: Total War.

Finally you'll be able to plot a global conquest alongside a friend - or against them. But note that only one other person can play with you for the time being.

Creative Assembly has also developed a new drop-in battle system where real people can take over as commander of the AI force for one battle.

Campaign co-op is being tested in Empire: Total War as we speak. The beta began in December, which we hope means these ground-breaking features (for the series) will be well oiled by Napoleon's launch on 23rd February.

And those aren't the only improvements on offer - head over to our hands-on impressions of Napoleon: Total War from last week to find out more.

Before someone says it: You feel it because Empire isn't 'finished'.

But seriously, good fun. I'll be British, mate can be the French. Sorted.

    *facepalm*

Drop in drop out multiplayer, get to play an army that the AI has wisely lead into a totally unwinnable position! Yaaaaay! Get to play features promised to the people who bought empire, yaaaay! Get all the patches promised to the people who bought empire, yaaay!

    >.> And so on and so forth. I bet that the multiplayer campaign will be "dlc" for Empire users.

Ok, fine. What about a sequel or prequel for Viking: Battle for Midgard now? Please?

Don't think it did much financially. They'd get more luck, imo, if it had Total War campaign light gameplay and then action of you controlling one guy in a Total War sized battle. Hell to the yes?

Personally i dont care about MP, I just want a good (and relatively bug free) single player experience. :|
