Microsoft has said you can get 10 free Live Arcade titles if you convince a friend to buy an Xbox 360.
If you have a chum who fits the bill, then pop over to the official site and fill out a festive form together. Just provide the serial number on both of your consoles and a sales receipt to show that your friend splashed out between 1st October and 14th December and you win.
Both of you will be given Every Extend Extra Extreme, Sonic The Hedgehog, Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting, Bomberman Live, Marble Blast Ultra, Spyglass Boardgames, 3D Mini Golf Adventures, Small Arms, Assault Heroes and Zuma Deluxe.
Given the Christmas line-up it shouldn't be too difficult to persuade them, either, but then we are WILDLY TEH BIAS so don't listen to us.

Glad you can finally admit that. /keeds Seriously, though, around here that be dangerous talk - ferchristssake, you guys were even accused of being in Microsoft's pocket because of the Gamertag integration! Which merely uses RSS feeds! And some people say that the Xbot fanboys are somehow the most illogical... /wondering how funny it would be to start a fanboy war over which fanboys are worse. Oh, be still my ironic spleen. |

@Lawlost - no not heard anything but I believe the terms are that they can change the games they offer without letting you know. I thought it was a strange one to offer at the time as I thought loads of people would be bound to actually part with points for it so they need not give it away but I rather suspect that Sensi has been delayed yet again.

sales code on reciept? They'll soon suss it out if its a fake. I phoned ms sd once because I had broken me wireless headset and they send me a new one even though I had broken it myself and even though they had absolutely no confirmation that I had it in the first place. I don't think ms sd is too arsed to double check things. Even if they are, nothing lost eh? |

Disappointing (re: Aussie non-offer), but thanks for the reply. :) @ Mazzwhatever I own both as well and take the complete opposite view. How could I possibly recommend a PS3 over a 360 atm? The 360 has such a deep library of quality titles, many of which are cheap, whilst I'm still waiting for something to spend my money on for the PS3. I even recently swapped my PES2008 pre-order from PS3 to 360 on account of how godawful the PS3 demo was. Give the PS3 12-18 months and I'm certain it will rock, but I'm not prepared to allow my friends to hate me for 12-18 months because I recommended they buy something with no games to play on it. |
