MotorStorm 2 ploughing into October News

PlayStation 3 News by Robert Purchese

11 September, 2008

Sony will be unleashing MotorStorm: Pacific Rift on the North American public from 28th October, but Europe has lost its date in the bushes.

Given Sony's track record, though, our version should be close behind - if not slightly ahead.

MotorStorm: Pacific Rift picks up from the first game but in tropical volcanic surroundings, where perilous precipices await the throttle-heavy, fiery pits burn the booster bunch, and watery traps sink the overzealous.

Tom hopped behind the wheel and delivered his thoughts yesterday, coming to the conclusion that the sequel has better and more varied tracks so far, prompting more route-planning and fewer flashy, show-off set-pieces.

He had other stuff to say, the gasbag, which you can find in his hands-on impressions of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift.

"lots its date"

Sack the proof reader.

Rob: I'd just like to point out, this isn't some sort of personal vendetta. It's just coincidence that I seem to always be first to spot typos in your articles.

I promise to ignore them from now on as if they didn't exist.

Are there still PS3 owners that don't import their games?!

I don't import anything that may have online on it... cannot be arsed with the kerfuffle if you find there are locked servers.

I've gone a bit cold on this since reading it might be a little....... muddled. I loved the original, so eagerly await the review.
