More on Red Alert 3 expansion in 09 News

PC News by Tom Bramwell

17 December, 2008

EA has declined to confirm reports that its Los Angeles studio is beavering away on an expansion pack for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 called Uprising.

However, the publisher went a bit beyond the usual line about rumour and speculation. "We will have more information in the New Year," the publisher told Eurogamer today.

Yesterday Jeuxvideo reported that an expansion called Uprising is in development, which was then faintly echoed around various C&C fan-sites.

Red Alert 3 came out on the PC in late October and followed on Xbox 360 in mid-November. Check out our PC and Xbox 360 reviews for more on why we liked them, which we did.

A PlayStation 3 version of the multiformat RTS is also in development, but a spokesperson said recently that we shouldn't expect to hear more about that before Christmas.

Awesome, hopefully I'll be restricted to installing that a set number of times too :D I hate being able to install what I want when I want.

I saw Red Alert 3 in Tesco for £15 the other day. I'm guessing it flopped and they are trying to drum up sales.
Still didn't buy it, Fuck your DRM EA.

I bought it twice @ full price. Once for me and Once for my brother. Anything that puts Gemma Atkinson and host of other beuties together needs support IMO
