More Guitar Hero III tracks
Chili Peppers, Iron Maiden.
Neversoft has revealed four more of the songs that make up the line-up in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, due out later this year on PS3, Xbox 360, PS2 and Wii.
Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Suck My Kiss", ZZ Top's "La Grange", Iron Maiden's "Number Of The Beast" and Dragonforce's "Through The Fire And Flames" were identified during fansite ScoreHero's trip to see the game. Apart from ZZ Top, they're all "master tracks" - i.e. the original recording.
They join a list that already includes the likes of Guns N' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle", Heart's "Barracuda" and Beastie Boys' "Sabotage". For the full list, check out the ScoreHero thread on the subject.
Publisher Activision recently unveiled wireless Gibson Les Paul controllers for PS3, 360 and Wii along with a Kramer model for PS2, with removable faceplates to personalise the experience. It was also announced that Slash has motion-captured moves for and will appear in the game as an unlockable character.

Lovin' a bit of "Through the Fire and Flames". Can imagine its in one of the last sets of songs. Tis a bit of a crazy bitch of a guitar-fest...

I really can't build up a hype around this anymore...I'm just certain that Rock Band is going to annihilate it...
It's just like this game is like "Rock Band Lite"...Very weird as I absolutely love the first two...
Who knows...Good songs though...

And as Rock Band is being touted by EA then there's more chance of that title being used and abused for maximum moneymaking purposes.
There's no reason why both these titles cannot co-exist and I, for one, applaud developers like Harmonix and Neversoft for taking up the rhythm action mantle and running with it!

but yeah I thought it was nicely varied.

I may just have to pick this up after all.
The only negative thing about this is, whenever I see these awesome tracks on GH3, I keep wishing they were on Rock Band so I could sing and drum along too.

Jesus. I don't envy their warranty returns department. There are going to broken controllers and repetitive strain injuries all over the place.
