More Burnout Paradise DLC this month
Cops and Robbers arriving on the 30th.
The next batch of downloadable content for Burnout Paradise will be released on 30th April, according to Criterion's website.
The Cops and Robbers pack promises to include "the greatest freeburn game mode yet" plus more fuzz to attempt to not be caught by.
You will have to pay for the pack, but there's no word on a price just yet. In the meantime why not enjoy this nice video. Or you could read our review of the original game, if you're not familiar.

I'm slowly lossing all good will I had for them with the good free stuff at first. Not to say any of it feels like a rip-off or anything, but it's getting to that point. Cops and Robbers especially, as Razz says, is a tweaked Marked Man so I wouldn't expect it to have a price.

As for the DLC - well, I'm a bit of sceptic. The core game is good, but none of the DLC has particularly added to that. That's just my personal opinion, and I'm sure there are people who love it all, but I've not been fussed by it or thought that it was worth the cost.

No?
Shame. Quality game anyway, but they've really missed a couple of key issues.
Menus and restricted-route races are another one that could be patched in. I'd bite.

No, they want it to remain a good game
Seriously, I'd have nothing against an optional rotation mini-map, but I'd certainly never use it. I love the game as is, which still surprises me given how much I absolutely despised the rest of the series. It's almost like they made it just for me, then started asking me for extra money. Which I gave them for the pack with the HOVERCAR! but nothing else yet.

Re: 'I have no room left on my 20 GB hard drive for more Burnout updates!'
That's what I thought too, until I realised you can delete all but the most recent patch for the game and it runs fine. The latest patch contains all the previous ones. It would have been nice for the patching system to automatically overwrite/ delete the old ones, right?!
