MOH: Airborne joins Xbox Live GOD

Leap of strafe.

Whoever is responsible for these things out of EA and Microsoft has uploaded Medal of Honor: Airborne to Xbox Live Games on Demand.

As usual the game sells for £19.99, and you can queue it up for download via the Marketplace website if you like.

Or you could buy it second-hand for about eight quid, I suppose.

Medal of Honor: Airborne, released in late 2007, is one of the last of the World War II shooters from EA and its Los Angeles studio before the decision to reboot the series in the present day.

In it, players parachute into various vaguely openworld combat environments and complete a series of objectives across Italy, France, Holland and Germany.

There's also an online multiplayer mode where one side begins in the air and the other on the ground, which should have been called "Splat" but isn't.

Check out our Medal of Honor: Airborne review if you fancy reminding yourself of the game's charms.

LOL I got Airborne for free at Christmas off EA store, Even the game I bought to get it I bought wasn't £19.99 :)

It's a really good game actually I'm enjoying it surprisingly. Not worth 20 notes though avoid at that price (like anyone needs telling!)

Yeah, it was pretty good fun until it got phenomenally difficult towards the end. Super-Armour Nazi Bastards FTL!

I enjoyed the game alot on PC, at the time it didnt feel like a complete game, just a bunch of nicely designed levels stuck together. And not enough airborne aspect :| Must play it again actually.

The price does seem alittle high considering its pretty cheap to get elsewhere.

And yes what is it with super nazis...

Super Armoured Nazis never did Return to Castle Wolfenstein any harm.

Its a really good game, but don't play in easy mode. I played through it on easy mode after finishing it on normal and it took me less than 2 hours to finish it.
